I was wondering. I know that it is possible to weld my krytonite lock to my frame, but is it a good idea. will it make it harder to steal since it is part of my frame now.

They still only have to cut the chain or the lock... It doesn't make much sense, and could potentially ruin something nice.
What it will do is make it harder for you to lock the bike up properly, unless you plan to weld it with the arms of the "U" sticking out to one side.
Not to mention what the heat would do to the strength of the lock and the bike frame.
Hmmm, I just noticed the title of this thread. If the lock is a chain and not a "U" type it would obviously not make locking it up that difficult, but it's still a bad idea.
