Ive been riding a little hard the past few days. Today Ive noticed a sharp main in my leg. Behind my knee (not under my knee but in the ditch) above my calf. Feels like ive pulled something. I notice it when I try to squat down or try to raise my leg. Because of this I didnt ride today.
anyone else get this problem?

your saddle could be too high.

hmm. Good point. I was riding the other day with it too low, then raised it too high. I knew it was too high but still road the 2miles to work.. Thanks
at first it felt like my knees were giving out on my. Then realized something was just pulled.
Saddle adjustments shouldn't be big changes - rather minute adjustments. I've ridden around for two hours just getting addle adjustment dialed in. I'd stop every five to ten minutes to play with tilt, height, forward and backward positioning just to make sure I could cover all the bases. It's surprising how much a little adjustment can make, let along a big one.

If you ride brakeless and the pain is in your dominant leg, try and favor your other leg for a day or two.

I have a front brake on it. The other day I was riding the velodrome (brakeless) for the first time and I may have pushed myself a little to hard.
every day Im still learning about my seat adjustments. One day I figure out a happy med.

I'd take a week off. I had a similar prob, it was a pulled hammie. and they dont heal well unless you rest it, since the muscle has so much tension on it.
