It doesn't say anywhere on IRO's website. Does the Mark V frameset include water bottle cage holes? Thanks.

The Mark V does contain a set on the downtube.

The Mark V pro contains none.

Just called them today and the Mark V is discontinued. BooHOo. I wanted one of those. I guess I'll get a steamroller.

Just the standard one or the pro as well?

Sure about that? "Mark V all sizes in stock!" from the web site.

Business is good for Tony and the Mark V is the core of his sales, I think (based on the number I see floating around). I find it hard to believe that it would be discontinued, though perhaps just the pro lives on. I don't know. Personally, I like bottle cages.

maybe he depleted his stock of mark v's and can't get any more from the manufacturerer, and perhaps he's ready to unleash a new frame upon us, with his kindliness and bike-savviness!

if he gets lugs, i'll buy the hell out of one of his frames.

I got a Mark V 53cm on July 7th. Tony did mention that he was not gonna sell the Mark V Pro anymore.
I guess the two bikes were just too simillar.

Best,

The pro, appart from no braze-ons, also has heat treated and butted tubing plus no brakehole in the rear.
