Does anyone have a trike and a two wheeled bent? Which one do you use more and for what purpose?

I have a Burley Canto with a 26" rear wheel which I use on rides roughly 15 miles or longer. Anything shorter I tend to ride my Sun EZ Tadpole. If I'm going to take a route with a lot of hills, the tadpole wins out. I can go as slow as I want up hills. (Concession to bad knees!)

The wife and I each have a LoGo trike (www.logotrikes.com) and I have a homebuilt SWB (Bentech).
The trikes get the most work (both have been ridden around Australia) and my SWB was more of a commuter when I was working closer to home than I do now.

I wish I had a trike and a 2-wheeled bent. If I had one of each, I would ride the trike more.

I had a mountain bike, a Cannondale recumbent, and a trike. Though I rode the others some and the Cannondale was a very nice ride, I always wanted to go out on the trike. Now, I ride only trikes.

I assumed that a trike would be for roads and paved trails. Would they handle a crushed limestone or granite trail?

Yes, but they need to be reasonably well packed (not that loose stuff is much fun on two-wheelers). The only difficulty could be losing traction up steeper hills.
Mount a set of Maxxis tires and run 45-50 lbs. of pressure and have a great time! I do.

I have a RANS Rocket SWB and just got a Catrike Pocket. Not sure yet which will be ridden most. I suspect the Pocket....

I've got a Greenspeed trike and a v-rex swb. I put in about 20 miles a day on the Trike (to and from work and at lunch), and 40 per day on the v-rex. I usually choose the swb when I go out for fun or exercise, and actually enjoy it a little more than the trike, but if I had to choose between the two, and could only have one bike, it would be the trike.

I have a Greenspeed Trike and a Rans Stratus. My son was riding the Stratus for a while but got a mountain bike. The Stratus is back to me but I have not found the inclination to set it up to my size and preferences. I live in the mountains and have found the trike easier to ride uphill. If I still lived in my native state of Michigan with its flat lands, I probably would have never bought the trike as the Stratus is a good ride.
