Training & Nutrition - How many have a reward for yourself when you reach your goal weight?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I decided today that if I reach my goal weight of 155-160 by next summer, I'm going to get myself a nice road bike to complement my mountain and hybrid bikes. I broached this with my wife. The conversation went as follows:
Me: Next summer, if I get my weight down, I'm going to reward myself with a new road bike.
Wife: How much do they cost?
Me: Two to three thousand.
Wife: I want a family trip to Disneyland then.
Me: What??? We just had a family trip to Disneyland in January.
Wife: You just got a new bike too. I want it at the Disneyland Hotel.
Me: Deal and we can go to Disneyland first.
I'm still going to work for my carrot.
How many of you have set something special to reward yourself for your hard work at losing weight?
Personally, the way I'm doing it will save much more than a bike costs by not eating at fast food joints, restaurants, etc.

I continuously reward myself in advance with beers, just in case.

That was the funniest thing I've seen today.
Anyway, I don't really have a reward right now. I was going to get a new bike when I got to 250, but I broke mine this morning so it's going to be sooner.
I think as long as I get one of the jobs I've applied for this summer, my next reward is going to be joining the local submission wrestling gym when I hit 250. It's something I've wanted to do for a long time, and it will help me on the road to 200.
I'm right around 200 lbs. right now, and shooting for 170 lbs.
While watching the Tour, I was drooling over Levi's Specialized Tarmac, and said "I want one of those."
Wife: "When you get to 170, we'll talk about it."
The beer rewards are delaying the big reward.
More miles.

My reward (192 down to 173) was being able to buy cool 32" waist pants and donate all my old 34" ones.
And nice comments from my wife.
Jugglar Dave,
For years, I've been completely disinterested in updating my wardrobe. Lately, I've been buying a lot of clothes, mostly intermediate to hold me over for the end run.
You guys/gals seem to have some great things set aside for your rewards.
As for the beer, I'm thinking that I'll give myself one of those each week. I love beer!!!
That Tarmac looks hot!!! I'm going to show it to my wife. So does that jersey.

My reward was to reintroduce beer and buffalo wings into my diet.

If I'm ever in Texas and see that jersey, I'll know it's you!!! In my new jersey on my new road bike, I'm going to tear after you like a wannabee cowboy after an imaginary steer. You're going to whip my ass, but not by as much as you normally would if I was on my hybrid with a t-shirt. Remember to hear the sound of my roar of laughter way off in the distance...behind you.

This is similar to my "intermediate" goal prize (I'll have a few of those too....as my trip is pretty far).
When I can fit into a simple XXL (largest they make for this jersey), this will be my goal:

Cool, King Termite.
That's another one I considered. Just ordered mine from Performance yesterday as kind of a half-way-there reward.

Hmm, I'm thinking I may reward myself with a giant bucket of Kentucky Fried chicken. Spicy flavor.
Yeah, pig out, that's the ticket.
Went from 231 to 199 and rewarded myself with a Giant NRS. Now I am at 175 and pretty much forced to reward myself with a new wardrobe.

Ouch!
(I still have some clothes left from my lighter weight days)
BTW - great job! How long did that take you, 231-175?

I have clothes from my lighter days, too, but that was about 250. I got to about 230 in the first off-season after I quit football, but before that, I hadn't been under 250 since I was a freshman in high school.
That was back when I was BIG rather than FAT.
