Like all things collectible, try ebay. There is a seller with the years you are looking for.

I may be mistaken but if you read between the lines, I think he's looking for a deal on bootlegs.

Worldcycling might be a pain to deal with.
Not that you shouldn't try... I'm just saying. They aren't the most professional of companies.
Personally I feel more comfortable just ordering them from Ebay.

I've never looked for these at the eBay auction site.

My wife purchased the 2003 TDF for my birthday a few years back from WCF. It was the only time I had a problem and six months later it still had not arrived. So I finally cancelled.

But other items I've purchased have arrived just fine.

I bought a dvd recorder just to record the TdF. The only stage I missed was stage 1. I would gladly make anyone a copy of them at no charge. Just send me the dvd-r and I'll copy them. I dont think it's illegal if I dont charge you for them but I'm not sure. The quality is quite good (mostly got 2 stages per dvd so the recorder didn't record in High quality) It does have comercials in it as I work long hrs so I just set it and went to work.

all 21 stages in opendivx/mpeg4, captured from OLN, with the commercials cut out.

the full set is under 18GB

In case anyone's interested I emailed WCP a while ago asking about other TDFs and when they would become available, specifically Jan Ullrich's first two years of 96 and 97 and the Big Mig years of 91-95. WCP replied that they would begin working on filling in those gaps on DVD following Lance's retirement. It was nice that they replied so quickly and it wasn't a form response.

If anyone downloaded the 2003 TdF from the above bit torrents thread, could you please re-seed. I posted on that thread, but it moves down off the board so fast, I am hoping someone will see my plea over here.

Worldcycling has DVDs to my door in 7 days, very high quality DVD resolution and dolby sound. No problems. Good company.
BUT..do yourself a big favor , get a DVD of a spring classic like the Paris-Roubaix -these races are far more exciting than the TDf lancelovefest. Plus: No Bob Roll or Trautwig.

Can anyone help with DVD recordings of Lance Armstrong specials from US TV or digital?

Of course, France Television Boutique has DVDs. In French, and Europe region, but they are the horse's mouth, so to speak.

FYI ... I had ordered the 2005 (and newly released 1991 & 1992) TdF DVDs from France TV before the race even occurred.

Today my bank card was charged, which means that they were/are shipped yesterday/today.

There's no Bob Roll or Al Trautwig or any evidence of OLN on the Tour de France DVDs. Just Phil and Paul and some other guy with fill-ins between stages. A little too much Lance coverage though.

Yeah, and the 05 Paris Roubaix DVD has Bob dumbing down the comments from Ligget and Sherwin.

Milano-Sanremo or Giro has much more aggressive and controversial racing compared to TDF. TDF is getting too sanitized.

If anyone have the tdf2003-torrents, it would have been nice if you reseed. I'm having problem downloading the last three discs as there isn't anybody in seed...
