Hello all:
I am an automotive journalist, usually, but have just written an article about the new Cadillac Bicycle line, and have previously written about the Mercedes bikes. Even though I write about cars for a living, I'm a long-time bike enthusiast, so these articles are more than just rewritten press releases.

Haha, fair enough -- right now I am the proud owner of a Raleigh beach cruiser -- no gears, no brakes just pedals and wheels. This choice sure surprised my wife, who offered to buy me a bike last year and she expected me to go for a $600 Trek or Specialized M-bike. The Raleigh cost $219, and it's giving me more pleasure than the $1,900 Klein roadie I've owned, the $900 Trek or any number of M-bikes.

Matter of fact, the Raleigh looks a lot like my first two-wheeler. Without the "gas tank," or streamers on the handlebars.
