Forum Suggestions & User Assistance - Is there a Classified or Hot Deals section of Bike Forum

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

For members who upgrade their memberships, they have the opportunity to advertise in the For Sale forums, where the classifieds are located. However, for the Hot Deals section, it is all archived in the For Sale forums as a read-only feature.

We still do not allow for selling one's items anywhere except in the For Sale forums, but that forum is reserved for our members that donate to the forums.

As a newbie to bikeforums, I'm interested, too. Can you offer some comment about how much the proper "donation" is, and what kind of success people experience therein?

You upgrade to Titanium membership. The old Donor membership is no longer available. If you try to open a thread in the market areas, as a registered member, you will be redirected to our payment page, or you can click the three stars by my name, or you can go to settings and then the paid subscription link. There is a pris]ce list there.

It
s $12 a year or 2 years for $20. There is also a trial membership for a month for $3. The 1 and 2 year automatically renew, the trial does not. If you opt for the trial, your marketplace threads will be removed after you revert to registered membership status.

Thank, Tom. Can you tell me approximately how many viewers or hits that forum has, so I can make a SWAG as to whether or not the fee is worth it? Appreciate it.

We clean out unhit posts over a 30 day span. We get quite a bit of activity, though.
