Hello from SW Missouri. Feels like an addiction meeting. Hi my name is Chris I am addicted to cycling.
Lets see got a couple of Santa Cruz mountain bikes (Superlight & Heckler) and I do about a 15 mile comute to work on a fixie (Tommaso). Mt biking is my favorite thing but there is really some kind of satification in gettin my but to work on my bike. I have lived in Springfield a big portion of my life excluding the 6 years in Alaska and 5 years in San Diego. Also lived in Dallas, San Antino & Chicago for two years each. Living in the Ozark Mountains is great. Lots of rivers, lakes and woods to go play in. I am the proud father of my little boy who just turned one one the 27th of July. Cant wait to get the little guy on a cycle. I also am married to my lovely wife Julie who also cycles with me. I work in a hospital lab at night and go to school days along with watching the boy so life is very busy. Well thats the Hillbilly in a nut shell.

Thanks Chris

I was born and raised in Springfield, I lived there for 27 continuous years. I don't think living there makes you a hill william.

The only bonus to having the rednecks in the 4x4s running around is that you can hear them when they're rolling up behind you- usually have fried glasspack exausts.

Be careful on your commutes- esp. for the cops. They love to write tickets 'for fun'. I have a friend that got a *speeding* ticket while cutting through SMS.

I didn't realize how flat that place was until I moved to OR.

Say 'hello' to Springpatch for me.
