I recently bought an '05 Specialized Hardrock Sport Disc, and the factory fork is an RST Gila PLus T5, yet I have no idea how to adjust preload. Can anyone help?

Not familiar with the fork, but if you bought the bike new, it should have come with a manual for the fork. If you didn't get one, see the store and ask for one. Or the RST website may have instructions online.

The preload adjustment is the two knobs on the top of each side. I don't believe there are any other adjustments.

When RST fixes their website, the manuals should be available at: http://www.rst.com.tw/download/download1.htm
