Bicycle Mechanics - LBS is repairing my wheel - questions

I have a 126mm-spaced Campy rear wheel with a broken axel. I took it to my LBS 2 weeks ago, and they said it would take about a week to get fixed. That week passed, and now this week has passed. I called, and they said they have no idea when the parts will be available, or if they can even get them. I was told they will call me back next week and let me know when it can be fixed, or if they can't fix it at all. They need the axel and new cones.

Should I go pick up my wheel and take it to another shop - does this seem a little extraneous to anyone else? Is it really that hard to get parts for a 126mm campy hub, or is this shop ill-eqipped?

it's feasible that they would stock the axle, given that campy's a bit unique. 2 week's is a bit of a stretch, as at least one major distributor (QBP) carries them, and even our local small-guy distributor can get them from wheels manufacturing. loosescrews.com almost for sure has them.

I don't see them on loosescrews.com, but the Wheels Manufacturing website has them (I think). If my dropouts are spaced 126mm, what length should the axle be? They are showing two in Italian threading:

# AXLE-07 - 137 mm length. 10 mm x 26 thread
# AXLE-08 - 141 mm length. 10 mm x 26 thread

I think those are applicable, but I'm not entirely certain what I'm looking for (which is why I took it to the LBS).

Thanks. I'll call and be obnoxious with them one last time tomorrow - just to find out if they can order from this company. If not, I'll call around to other bike shops within driving distance and find SOMEONE who can do this in a timely fashion.
