BMX - hey need some advice =)

hey i just started ridding bmx this year would like to know what i should look for in a bike that i want to use for street ridding and was wondering if someone could just give me a few important points i should look for in street bikes. Not buying new but used so yeah. and if anyone could just give me a couple good names(makes, brands) for street bikes. I feel like im repeating everything I say like a hundred times so thanks for listening and hopefully someone answers and yeah... thanks if you answer =) really preciate it!

Not just the seat tube, not just the front triangle, all of it.

i would say to get some kind of Mosh, Haro, or Redline...somewhere around those brands....just look for(like the other guy said....4130 Cromoly frame, sealed wheels, and sealed crank...basically all you need...ohh ya and a good seat..lol....

Titanium.

I only say this because I was taking apart one of my MTBs today, and seems like there were way more titanium parts than I remember putting on it. Cassette, crank bolts, brake bolts, skewers, chainring bolts, derailleur pivot bolt, and brake/shift lever hardware. And this was on my "Cheap" bike. Mmmm... non-ferrous goodness. :D

Ti frames: not worth the money. Ti bitties here and there, sure...things like 9t cassette drivers and maybe crank spindles and axles, small parts that have to endure high stress loads.

But carbon fiber headset spacers are really where it's at. :D
