Hello everyone, what a great site!! I have just gotton back in the saddle after 15 yrs on ATVs and dirtbikes. Just recently purchased a Diamondback Wildwood and got hooked instantly, I'm on it every chance I get, up to 20 miles now pretty easy now, already making changes, put on some 26 x 1.5 all terrain tires, very mild tread for better road riding and still ok for bike paths, smaller seat (skinner) better pedals and handgrips.
I just picked up a low mileage vintage (late 70s?) Takara last night for free, now a little shine work, new tires, the originals still have the tits on them!, and we'll try a little road riding on my 30+ lb road tank.
Anyway I"ve got it bad already, now if I can just convince the wife I NEED that new FELT Speedbike at Boyds Bicycle in Bristol I'll let ya"ll know.

Welcome - There's a good trail not too far from you in Va. called the Virginia Creeper. Give it a try sometime.

Thank you JABIKE, I'm about 15 miles from the creeper, I like to go ride there on sunday mornings, I got ahead of myself on post going on about bikes, I'm 48, live in Bristol Tn and just sold my old Mongoose IBOC (pre walmart) MTB, great old bike, rode in a Poker run this evening, a 30 miler and a short course 12 miler, I was 6th bike in on short ride, I was pretty jacked about that, beat a bunch of road bikes on the Diamondback Wildwood.
