This morning I spent about an hour at the library and put in all my journal writings so far to the website. I went back to Cory's to chill out for a bit then hit the supermarket to stock up for my next journey. I got granola, granola bars, nutella, peanut butter, soup mix, oatmeal, trail mix, and some other odds before heading to the Post Office to mail off a letter to a friend and then back to meet up with Cory. I packed up some things to get rid of some extras and then we went to hang at the Midnight Sun before going to Long Lake with Cory's ex and daughter, and some of their friends. For a few hours we relaxed by the lake. Most of us got down to our birthday suits and took a dip in the frigid water and then warmed up in the shining sun. It felt great soaking in the great weather in the beautiful surroundings with good people. We left and Cory and I prepared a feast, curry chicken with veggies. Chantel had left earlier today to spend the night in Skagway, which is a couple hours to the Southeast in Alaska. After a full meal we popped in a Grateful Dead concert tape and ate some ice cream. It ended up being an all around great day. (4 miles)

Peace

Dave
