I don't know what's wrong, but the only think that would pop into my mind would be that the chain needs some oil... It is getting a little dry...
So here's the problem. Basically I'm riding my bike and I down-shift or up-shift, doens't matter which and sometimes I hear a sound that sounds like the chain has been put into place. But then I start to peddle(most of the time I'm standing when this happens) and then the bike decides to downshift. It down-shifts to the gear I had down-shifted to earlier. Lets say I was on gear 5 and went down to 4. It would downshift late or something. I'm most likely guessing it's the chain that isn't lubricated well enough to slide on the cassette. What do you think it is? I don't know if it's the chain that just hasn't gripped the cassette perfectly yet or it is that it didn't down-shift or up-shift when I thought it did. I'm going to see if Oiling up the chain tomorrow helps it at all. But what do you think the problem is?
