Does anyone know of any more populated forums for cyclocross? Right now there are only 19 users browsing this section and cyclocross season is right around the corner, I'm surprised there aren't more people on.
Anyways, the second question is about Redline's geometry, I had a redline 50cm and just got ride of it because I felt too cramped on it. The redline 50cm has a 52.2cm TT but like a 55cm c-t seat tube. I just bought a Cannondale cyclocross which fits me 10 times better, it's a 50cm and has a 53cm TT on the seat tube c-t is like 52cm. My road bike has a 54cm TT. With a 100cm stem on the cannondale it fits me perfect for cyclocross, a little high on the stand over but I just have to learn not to slip out of my pedals :P I tried the 52cm Redline with a 53.5cm TT and I couldn't even get the saddle low enough, my legs were too extended. Why do they do this? The Redline are SWEET bikes and it killed me to get ride of mine but I really didn't want to go with like a 110cm stem, I'm racing cyclocross with it, not touring or riding road. Not only that but if I fell off my pedals with that 50cm Redline I could say good by to my little friends, there was absolutely no standover height on that. Are Redlines meant for the gifted of tallness?
