hello,
I am currently living in North Carolina and in July 1994 I purchased a Cannondale R800 and have been riding for a year now. I used to run in marathons but 2 knee surgeries put my running days behind me. So I bought the bike to replace the long distance. I have no experience in riding except that when I'm on it I only know one speed, FAST!!! I love the burn in the legs and soreness in my lungs when I'm done. On the down side, I am 6'6" 240lbs which I hear is huge for cycling. I ususally ride 30 miles a day around 20mph is that good??? I'm glad to be riding and hope to receive mountains of information on how to improve my cycling and techniques. Thank you
