Hi yuniz ( that's Pittsbughese for you all ) ,
I 've been cycling since I was a a little kid. I use to have this cool purple banana seat bike -- which-- can you believe-- I passed down to my brother. I've done everything from deliver pizza to riding my first century last fall. This week I purchased a new Trek cyclocross bike. I also have a wonderful old friend of a 12 speed Schwinn, the a very good friend gave me. If you live near by and need someone to ride with email me at gretassister@yahoo.com . I have a very non-traditional job so a variety of slots are open for riding.

Hiya, Joyce. It's been a long time since I was one of yuniz! When I grew up in western PA, I never thought we Pennsylvanians had an accent...but now that I'm in SE MO... I handed my first bike down to my brother too. It was a red schwinn with streamers in the handlebars and yes, it was a girls' model. He stripped it down and jumped it over ramps until he bounced it apart! Oh, those little brothers! And I can't get him near a bicycle today! He's still in PA.

I wish you good riding! Hope you find someone nearby to ride with!

Thanks Dusty. Yeah, mine was pretty girlie, too. I mean purple. The poor guy is probably scared for life.
