ok i dont know much about it, i ride bmx. but i have a 1963 robbinhood english made womens internal hub three speed bike . it is all oringinal even the oringinal robbinhood intertubes and brake pads can anyone tell me about the bike , or how much it is worth
robin hoods from that era are rebadged raleighs...the good part is that you can easily find replacement parts for them, the bad part is that their resale is not so good. $50 for a reasonably good example, maybe more on eBay if someone's looking for your specific bike...

Check-out www.oldroads.com and click on the English Roadster discussion section, look at the photo archives and lastly the bikes for sale section and bikes that have sold section. If it's as clean and original as you say, it may be more than $50.00.

:) The front cottered right hand crank arm and sprocket were usually 40 teeth and the rear hub sprocket could be a 16, 17 or 18 teeth. Gearing would be a Sturmey-Archer 3 speed with indicator chain going into the rear hub. You might be describing a device that fit around the axle with a nut on the back that allowed the wheel to be centered correctly in the rear part of the frame. You have a good solid bike.
