Anyone know where I can view a picture of a 2005 PLATINUM colored Cannondale tandem? Cannondale's website only have an image of the blue one (http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/05/CUSA/spec/5rtblu.jpg). LBS doesn't have one either.

-thanks

I haven't seen a pic but I saw one at my LBS, is more a GOLD color than PLATINUM. Whoever named the color must have had a bad hangover. I'm glad I got the BLUE.

Garagedog -- Mel at Tandem's East has 2 sitting in his inventory according to what he told me last evening on the phone when I was placing an order and we were shooting the XXXX. He's a great guy - Mel!

He said that he couldn't sell that color if he gave away the bike basically. Hey - that means he may be willing to give a discount off of his normal prices! And, he's WAY more knowledgable of the Cannondale road tandem than most LBS from my conversation with him. He understands proper FIT to the tandem ... and makes suggestions for what needs to be done BEFORE he ships the tandem to you.

Yup, Mel and Barb K will not steer you wrong. Great folks . . . they've ridden over 138,000 miles TWOgether on tandems, so experience is also a big factor!
