I am so excited! I've been doing the sprint distances this year (four as of yet) and as you know I just love them. Mostly because the run is do-able. Well...walk mostly in my case. The only reason I haven't done an olympic distance yet is because I sooooo can not run a 10k and walking a 10k, heck I'd be there all afternoon! SOO...my friend who got me into this sport to begin with has been after me to do an oly. She was talking to our other friend trying to get her in there too, and we have the same problem. No running a 10 k! She said if I could just bike it I'd do it. The birth of the relay team! My other friend said well you know Kathy will swim it, we just need to find a runner. And this girl who was listening in said a runner for what?...I'm a runner. Booya! We have our team. And it's so cool because none of us are hell bent on winning, we just wanna finish and have fun. My kind of people!! I am so excited.

Now the question. Have you been on a relay team? Tips, hints...any help would be appreciated. Or if you just wanna give a shout out and say...yeah girl you rock!! That'll work too!!!!

No tips really. You just get to go all out in each so your overall time should be pretty good.

Now you need a cool name. :)

One tip is everybody should know the ETA (estimated time of arrival) for each leg of the team tri. The cyclist should be all warmed up and ready to go when the swimmer is just coming out of the water as like the runner should be ready. Like you said team tris are a blast. At one of my sprint TT. I came in just under my ETA and he was sitting on the ground talking to his girl.

Cool name? Tell us more about your team.

Go cycleprincess. :)
