I am interested in trying to ride from within Washington DC up to the Laurel Area (right next to the scaggsville 95 exit) I am trying to find a somewhat safe route but all I really see are 4 major roads heading in that direction (Rt. 29, 95, BW Pkwy, and Rt. 1). I do not want to ride on the highway but there must be someway to connect these two points. I know the capital crscent trail runs through Gtown up through bethesda. But is there any suggestions for what trails or roads to take? Thanx.
