Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - Goodbye!

Wow, I haven't been on the forum in like 2 months or so due to other commitments, mostly work and mountain season. I have stopped in the last few days and realized I only know like 4 people posting in here now. INKDWhEELS and William are gone and so are many of the old posters on here. Seems to be alot of new people on fixie which i guess is cool, and I wish you guys all luck.
For the guys and gals who did know me, I had to give up messengering after my second month, the navy just wouldn't let it fly and made me start working days again. Still riding the fixie and getting ready to throwdown in the Honolulu Century out here next month. Just entered a XC race on a singlespeed and had a blast and didn't suck too badly. I've got a year left on my contract out here in hawaii and in the navy, then I don't know if I'm heading back to Seattle. Might try my hand at small towm living for once, Open a bike shop....who knows. Well ride safe and maybe I'll see you running red lights sometime.

Yeah , I am out and said my good byes. I have other priorites also to do. I have down time and recently started posting again but as I stated before Sept 5 will be my last day period.

I think in addition to everything else, summer is here and people are outside more than on here. I know I only pop in once or twice a week these days. I predict that action will pick up on here in the late fall/early winter. This place needs a rest anyways I think.

40 hr work week and my lab is close to my computer. I'll be here until I change my place of employ or I quit biking. It's better than being the unemployed bum I once was though...
