hey guys i need someones help real bad on the bike i have i need to kno how to take the pedals off so i can change the sprocket and stuff so can some please respond
get a 15mm wrench; they both loosten towards the back tire

wat do u mean cuz i just looked at a 15 mm and it is way small and do u put the wrench on the screw thing and move the pedals towrds the tire? please reply

As I pointed out in another post, all of these routine repair procedures are explained in great detail in the "Repair Help" section of www.parktool.com
You're riding a BMX bike I gather? Some BMX pedals require a different size pedal wrench, I think it's 1/2". In either case, you put the wrench on the flats of the spindle between the pedal and the crank.

Yeah, it's either 15mm or 1/2" and you remove the pedals by placing them at the lowest position on the crank-spin. Put the wrench on from the back-wheel facing forward, and push down on the tool. You'll notice the left pedal is reverse-threaded (spins clockwise to loosen).

1/2 or 91/6 ...do you have a 3 Piece Crank or one piece.. 1/2 is 1 pc. etc.!
