hey every i need help on doin sumtin i need to kno how to take the pedals off of a bike i dont just mean the foot pedals i mean the hole connection thing connected to the sprocket cuz i need to change it

umm that would be the crank... if its a one pc. you use a wrench on the bolts at the side opposite the sproket and after that its easy. if its a 3 pc. do the same thing but remove the bolt on the end of the crank and loosen the one on the side and it should slide off. once off just take off the large bolt (i believe its 1 1/4 size) and pull everything out. dont loose any bearings, bolts, spacers or anything or you'll be having a good time walking around for awhile

That depends entirely on WHAT you have. 3-piece? 1-piece? American BB? Euro BB? Pics would help a lot. The steps for removing crank arms vary greatly from model to model, some require specialized tools like BB wrenches and spanners and almost all bottom brackets have at least one set of left-handed threads in 'em somewhere.

Metric allen wrenches a hammer and some vice grips. But since I have a garage full of tools(Im lucky), I can used the right size wrench.
