Friend of mine needs to run some sort of forum software for work, as an internal message-board kinda thing, and I immediately thought of bikeforums. Anybody know what software bf runs? Or does anybody know of another good forum-type software thingamabob?

This forum does in fact run Vbulletin. I don't know the reasons Joe selected it but there reason I have used it in the past was signifigantly more features, ease of use for the users and admins and overall a solid product. I have tried most but have yet to find anything on par.

Now the question is why joe hasn't enabled the "Quote message in reply" checkbox at the bottom and thus requiring another page load just to reply with quote.
