'As an added plus, the magnetic suspension field cushions your ride.'
I don't belive it seems more like a joke. The last one does look real though.
Yes, but you can only get them from the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. Take a close look that the name of the publishing company.

Pretty obviously a "virtual" construction, it may even be from the R&D department somewhere. A lot designers "float" such futuristic contraptions to see if there's any public acceptance (or shock...)
The idea of a lightweight, composite monocoque frame isn't exactly new...

Specialized unveiled the bikes at a special media conference in Tokyo on November 31st.
Unless Japan is on a special calendar, I highly supect that this is just a joke.

These bicycles kind of look like they came from this site (http://design.runride.com/design/).

I love the size of the rotors on some of the later ones. One of them has triple-caliper pistons. Goes from 50 mph to skidding in 0 seconds!
Also a hubless magnetic suspension would have the problem that if you pick up the frame, the wheels would be left on the ground :D.

I think it's carbon fibre. Wait...carbon fibre IS plastic.
;)
Concept Bikes, just like the concept cars at the car shows.
Wonder what RetroGrouch will say about them...
This is the only bike that looks remotely real.
They have real versions of these.
