Those who live in or near Massachusetss this weekend is a Tax free weekend. Maybe time to add some bling or check out a few items in a bike store. Just wanted to remind those who might be looking at that bike they have been eyeing....:D

We have it in DC, but it has to be for items under 100 bucks. :-/

How do they stop you from re-entering the store over and over again anyway?

- what, Taxachusetts has a tax-free day?

- that's like saying no speedballs for the junkies today, isn't it?

(i'll never forget living in Braintree, MA; two days after moving in, the local assessor was knocking on the door, asking how many children, how many adults, how many cars, and how many pets...)

That is what is good about being an Oregonian, ever day is tax-free day. You anywhere near the Berkshires?

Yes it is the13th and 14th I didn't make that very clear. I live on the CT/Mass border. May take a ride into Worcester to check out a larger bike shop. I think it is any purchase of less than $2500. Guess that leaves out a lot of bikes...:(

I'm right at the foot of the Berkshires.

The one thing I hate the most about tax-free day is everyone from New Hampshire laughing at us :( I can't wait to get out of here.

Tax free day? I have never heard of such a thing. Why would they do that? Seems like they're missing out on precious tax revenue.
