not to be the whiney forum member, just a note: those of you who've perfected the art of hopping off the bike sans shoes should still be looking out for other people at the dismount line. coasting through past that line is still ...er...not cool!/illegal?

i have an awesome gash on my right forearm from one of these "expert"'s bike's left handlebar hood.

yikes, people! i only noticed the bloody mess when someone pointed it out as i was going up to collect my division winner prize...how many seconds did you really save?

that said, i like to throw a few elbows in the swim.... ;)

Well, it is his fault for trying to push past you. Question is is did you swerve towards him? or did he just hit you. By saving a few seconds by doing the shoe thing, I saved close to 30.

nah. if i'da swerved i'da not be posting. i think it's an in general fault for hopping off one's bike after the dismount line. people who are already on foot have elbows that are more in line with fast-moving equipment's frontal jabby parts. why is the equipment moving fast? because, until both feets are on the ground, someone's still riding it. into me!

in this case, software...i won a towel! woooooo!
