I'm just wondering which bicycle parts are commonly made from Titanium. Is it mainly just the frame or do you also use Titanium sprockets & chains? I sell surplus titanium and I would like to become more involved with the bicycle builder.

I stock alot of titanium tubing, but I don't know which sizes are common for bicycles.

Thanks for your help.

Pretty much anything which was steel can be made from Ti.
Nuts and bolts, wheel axles and quick releases, bottom brackets, pedals waterbottle cages, saddle frames, seatposts, bars, rear cogs.
Most of these are made by speciality companies.

Hi there,

On Ebay (I know, I know) there's a manufacturer that has recently started supplying ti bike parts and he's based in Onterio, Canada.

His company are called Areolite and his website can be found at www.areolite.ca

Don't know if this helps
