Foo - Avatar confusion?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I post on a few boards. The regulars on each board, I tend to identify by their avatar. However, jumping from board to board, I get mixed up sometimes.
For instance, Bethechange uses the kittycat with the lime peel or whatever it is on its head. A regular on one of my other boards also uses that, it's kind of a rude shock to me sometimes when I expect the personality of one, and get the other.
Maybe it's just me. I might be getting too sensitive. :o

You shouldn't have any problem identifying me.
I try to keep it simple for you!

Not until you explain what that yellow thing up above my head is. It hurts my eyes when I look at it.

wth is that?
wth is that?
I have a guess. A bird screwing a bear? all stuffed animals.
Other than slvoid, I don't think anyone else's avatar is similar to mine. I might change it again, who knows. I like being indecisive.

It's domo-kun screwing a bear!
my avatar is not unique, but it stands out. I may get bored one day and make something though. Probably along the lines of a mountain biking ficus. Long story.

I usually like to have fun with avatars, but 60X60 is so stifling. However, I have been given new inspiration by these replies.
BTW, my current avatar on another board, with the tag: 'I need the money up front.' If you follow news of the weird type stuff, you will know exactly from whence it came. :D

I think what's confusing is that someone else has lauren's avatar with her picture in it and she's got a dog.
Mine shouldn't be that hard to figure out.

I think you can find plenty of nice avatars in the allowed space, you just have to get creative sometimes.
Although mine isnt really that creative, i have seen more then one other member using a specialized logo.

I wanted to put a pic a Tyr (the dog in my avatar) hanging off some guy, but you just couldn't tell he was a dog when it was that small. It would kinda resemble the doughboy with a killer case of mold.

I was just waiting for her to come on and be like, hey wait a second. :D
Ill go back to the old me.

This is the funniest one. The cop's hold the dog that's biting the ass of the cop in front of him while the dog behind that cop is biting him in the ass.

You all must know that avatar is from the Sanskrit avatara - (descent from down & pass over). It is the decent of a deity or released soul to Earth in bodily form.
Now some of these plushie screwing Japanese character deities are scaring me, and the latex glove snapping "please cough twice" avatars make me wonder if I've stumbled on kinkforums.com. But hell, I keep coming back.
And I did take the advice and step outside and all I found was Wind 'N Snow.
I switched back to the eye for a while.
slvoid, you gotta visit a few of those training sessions and see just how much fun the dogs think it is. I visted a couple of them and hope to visit more as I have the chance. Great fun, although I only got to see Schutzhund (I wanna see some suit work next).

That's not a real dog, it's just a man in a dog suit and a fancy wireless blackberry with photoshop! Don't try to fool me....

The best avatars are ones that are recognizable without having to look at it while flying through post's text.
