Folding Bikes - 406 rims

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Do you use 406 rims drilled for Presta valves or do you use rims drilled for Schraeder valves?
Anyone using Presta tubes with Shraeder drilled rims? If so, do you use an adapter for the rim hole to reduce its size down to Presta diameter? How well does the adapter work (any tubes damaged by the adapter)?

I'm running diamondback bmx rims with high-pressure tubes with Schwalbe Presta valves. The schraeder-sized holes are a bit big for the valves but I've not encountered any problems with the tube bulging through so far in about 700 miles of riding...

I use presta. I like the velocity 406 rims. nice and light and nice looking
You can also get brass inserts to put in a Schrader drilled rim to get it to a Presta size. My touring bike uses 26" tires and it saved me getting new rims or having a floppy valve sticking out of the hole <-- that sounds vaguely disturbing...

100% Presta. 120psi tires pretty much require that. :)
However, on my better half's hybrid's 700c I've gotten away with Presta valves in Schraeder-drilled holes sans adapter.
