Just wondering if anyone or Melbournians here has riden the Capital City Trail recently? any comments or words of caution?

Could a 32km trail be too much to start off with after a long break from cycling?

Yep, I've done it not too long ago, at the beginning of the year. Went with the whole family, I was the only one with a bit of fitness, but everybody went just great. We took the train back to the starting point in Eltham.

Go for it. Plan to use up the whole day.
