Hi.

Does anyone have experience with shipping frames overseas? How much do one usually have to pay for shipping a frame from the us to europe (sweden)???

thanks/jens :)

You can figure this out via the UPS, Fedex or USPS websites. Just plug in box dimensions and weight.

The things to watch though are taxes and duties.

Yeah, they'll screw you on the taxes. Fargin' iceholes!

We had to ship a baby jogger to a friend in Norway (who mail ordered it from a company that wouldn't ship it overseas). It was oversized, and would have cost over $100 US to ship conventionally. We set up an account with a company out of NJ where we shipped it to them, and they shipped it very cheaply in a container. If faced with oversized charges, you might want to look at that sort of option.

it depends on a lot of things. if heard that ups and fed ex can charge up to 100-150 u.s. dollars. i got my frame shipped to switzerland by house of track via u.s. postal service for 50 u.s. dollars, and i didn't have to pay customs! the guy (neal) said he shipped it as used and a value of around $35, that is kind of risky though, if the package gets lost there is no insurance...
