Howdy all, I'm gonna race super d at nationals this year and was wondering how I should set up the suspension on me bike. Mountain Bike magazine did a profile on Adam Craig's super d bike and it said he kept his suspension really stiff with fast rebound. I'll be using a Specialized enduro pro with a talas fork and a float rl shock with the specialized "itch switch".
Peace up a town.

I would think a setup similar to a bikercross bike would work fine. Steeper HA compared to a dh bike and stiffer setup than freeride or dh bikes. As an example, an all mountain bike with stiff rear shock and maybe an adjustable style fork. Boxxer race (that new one that locks down) or a pike would be ideal I would think.

Im gonna be using a fox talas fork. Do u think that a stiffer suspension would be better or a plusher suspension? Fast rebound or slow?

Super D requires some pedalling and isn't super techy. I would think stiffer would be ideal, but keep in mind this likely changes per trail, depending on how tech it is.

You were doing so well. Two extra keystrokes that's all.

Depends on the course how you set up the suspension. Do a pre-ride and check it out, then decide.
