I am goingto be investing in a bike soon, and am going to be riding exclusivel on the road, but may also do a few thriathlons later on.Are there any bikes that are sort of halfway between the road frame geometry and the triathlon bike frame geometry? A bike that would serve both purposes reasonably well?

I picked up a Soloist for road races and the occasional TT myself. Nice, except the head tube was dented upon receipt. Very bummed, because the frame itself is beautiful. :(
