After about 6 weeks or so of bc-ing to work, I finally convinced a co-worker to do it too! :) He started this week and I think he's hooked. His first day was a little rough - he has to ride on much busier streets than I do, he forgot he had to shave somewhere, and he didn't have a lock for his locker to keep his clothes in. The next day he forgot his belt and thought he had lost his wallet (he had left it in his locker). I can tell, though, that he really does enjoy it and I hope he keeps it up. It really keeps us both motivated to know there is another bc-er in the office! Now, who else can I hook...

What's a locker? ;)

I keep my work shoes at work under my desk.
I park my bike with panniers in the warehouse.
I hang my wet towel and cycling clothes off one of the shelves in the warehouse.
Gee, maybe the warehouse is my locker. :D

I change in the Radiology darkroom and my locker is the coat hook over the office cat's litter pan. I guess the theory is to concentrate as much of the smell in one place as possible.

I haven't actually got this guy commuting yet, but someone in my office last week told me he is looking to buy a bike. Hey, it's a start.
