OK, scratch both the gt and haro ideas, iv been directed to look at hoffman bikes and was wondering if they are worthwhile bikes especially the rhythm il 1, or whould it be more worth it to step up and get the pl seried bike?

Just dirt jumping, or other riding?

Haro F-Series aren't really dirt jumpers. They're much better for street. DK six pack all the way.

Spin a wheel. Pick a bike. Then become a religious devotee to the one fate has chosen for you. This is how things are done in the BMX world.

i don't really get this dirt/street/flatland bike thing..what is the true difference between dirt and street and all that...i know gearing, tires, brakes, rims, sealed or unsealed bearing, etc., etc.,,,,,, but is the frame different??

its all about personal preferance.

Actually, it's all about steering geometry, top tube length, and chainstay length.

BBs are usually jacked way up high and seat tubes are real short on flatland frames, too. Down tubes either curved or gusseted for greater clearance on the front wheel and tolerances on my own frame are so small that any sprocket over like 32t will rub the frame and the rear brake won't clear. Very compact bikes.

Could you please not bump old threads? He asked over a month ago, so there's a very good chance he's bought a bike.
