Road Bike Racing - Anyone subscribe to Cycle Sport?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I purchase this mag from Borders every so often. I really like it - but wow - pricey. 7 bucks, 50 for 12 if I decide to subscribe. Any feedback on Cycle Sport, what else is out there.

I really like Cycle Sport, though I don't subscribe. The articles are uniformly well-written and thoughtful, they have some pretty cool features and the photography is outstanding. Considering that I pick up a copy almost every month, maybe I should subscribe.
Yeah, I do like the photos - the latest with Cipo - interesting fellow. I might subscribe, Im finding that Im picking up the mag almost monthly - why not save a buck or more on the subscription.

I buy it every month, too. I suppose a subscription would save me some money. It is my favorite cycling publication.

A subscription is about $40 or $50 per year, and usually you get a free video from their collection. On top of that, it saves you the trip to Borders.

Yeah, I have a multi-year subscription as I was driving to the local book store to buy it every month anyway. Another really good mag you should check out is Procycling (http://www.procycling.com.) I believe it is also a "Euro" magazine focusing primarily on the racing scene.
By the way, I feel the subscription was worth every penny. Now I don't miss an issue. :)

I like CS and pick it up nearly every month. I need to subscribe, for sure.
However, I like VeloNews as much or better as it covers the north american race scene and mountain biking, too.
I like pro cycling as well, just clicked on the link - 114 for two years - thats seems like a lot.

Just subscribed a couple of weeks ago...90 bucks for 24 issues.
Chose the tape '98-'99 World Championships Cyclocross.
I'm still waiting for my first issue, but I got the tape a couple of days ago. The races in Poprad were incredible. Mario De Clercq won the title in the last 100 meters by the pro's, and by the juniors ( or was it the "espoirs"?), for the first time in history an American on the podium. Great bicycle racing.
I've got to watch it three years after date. I envy those people in Europe who got to watch all those races LIVE.
And then there are also the six-day track races and world championships on the track and ...and.......

Cycle Sport if a great mag! You can't get any magazine like that with the Euro point of view from any of the US publishers. Good writing and photography.
I've never subscribed - the cost is hard to justify right now, but I do buy it on occassion as a treat from the bookstore. I also like Cycling Plus (+) which is for all types of riders. Great Brit mag! I have an issue that I'm currently reading.
