I have a new Marin Bobcat and the right brake has started to squeak. Any thoughts on what the cause is and what needs to be done? Thanks.

What you want to do is adjust the tensioners on the sides. You want the pad to be equi-distant from the rim, then clean both the rim and the brakes with a solvent like rubbing alcohol.

That should take care of it because dirt and grim tends to build up there.

What kind of brakes? V brakes or disc?

Oh discs, well, you should still clean them.
