This is a shot in the dark, but I have a frame with a 73 mm English-threaded BB shell. Does anyone have a rec. for a cheapish BB / crankset combo that will give a 42 mm chainline.

I've pretty much decided on the IRO / Velocity Aerohead wheels, but the existing cup and cone BB and cottered crank HAVE to go.

you could go IRO crank as well, $79 & Shimano UN53 73x107mm BB, $16 (bikeman.com)
