What type of terrain are you looking at?

Personally I just tried a Gary fisher and really enjoyed the genesis geometry. Maybe because of how similar it is to a fr geometry and the climbing was amazing. I couldn't believe the geometry improved climbing quite that much.

alo have you tested any? What did you prefer? Or are you just starting with a blank slate completely?

well i have a gt avalanche but i need something lighter . do you know anything about the dual sport bikes gary fisher produces they sound interesting.

Gary fisher isn't really a brand I know anything about. Its not my scene. But what I tested suited climbing really well. Not sure about prolonged trips though.
