Yes, definitely check out that FAQ thread that Berg linked to. That mtbr 29"er forum will answer every question you can think up.

BTW, What's yer size?

I'm, 6'1" and ride a 19" Buzz Bomb 29"er (in addition to my 26" bike). My first sensation on my first moments on the bike were along the lines of, "Wow! I'm no longer sitting ON TOP of the bike, but BETWEEN the WHEELS!"

Out on the trail, it handles even sketchy and twisty XC terrain with ease. Very nice, intuitive flow. Great climber with additional traction for steep, loose stuff that I routinely have trouble scratching my way up. Higher front axle seems to provide some extra anti-endo stability for ruts and troughs that run along singletrack descents.

I'm not ready to say that the bigger wheels are for everyone, and I continue to happily ride my 26" as well. But I am positive that in the not-too-distant future, when the right full-suspension trailbike design comes along supporting 29-inch hoops, I'll make the switch.
