General Cycling Discussion - Montreal cyclists: Brooks saddle source?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I called all of the LBS' in the Ottawa phone book today - all 20 of them. Nobody stocks Brooks leather saddles.
Any Montrealers have a recommendation for an LBS in your city that carries Brooks'?
I make occasional trips there or could order via phone. Thanks folks.
Chris
I find it hard to believe that none of the shops in that area can order you a Brooks saddle! Try www.permaco.com, they have good prices and are in Ohio so it's not too far from Ottawa.

Bicycletterie J.R. (J.R. Cyclery) stocks the B-17 and a few other models. They are located on Rachel Street, a few blocks East of Saint-Laurent Blvd. I am aware of a couple of other shops that would have no problem ordering them.
But if you have to do a special trip to Montréal just for that, I would suggest that you order from Wallingford (http://wallbike.com) in Louisiana. They have a very good return policy. No personal experience with them, but I know 2 persons who have good experience.

But if he knows he will like (or most likely will like) the B17, why pay the extra $20. or so that Wallbike charges for the 6-month return?
Hey! Thanks guys. I made a few calls - turns out there's a bike shop in Toronto that stocks a bunch of Brooks saddles. They had the B67 Honey and are shipping today. :)
CycleTherapy was the shop and the fellow I was coresponding with was Tomas.
Get this: I sent an email at MIDNIGHT on Saturday. He replied at 1am.
And then again several times Sunday. That's service. SOLD! He got my business.

I emailed a few other shops and got no reply. One shop replied that they didn't stock Brooks but suggested another shop - definately appreciated. They get a gold star for that.
I suspect I'll be seeing email replies trickle in over the next while but I'll have to send my regrets.
Email's gotta be treated as urgently as the phone.

Wallingford is pretty competitive with LBS prices for Brooks saddles. Not too many places charge what aebike does.

Urbane Cyclist in Toronto stocks them too. But I don't know if they would answer emails at midnight.
Follow up: found out today that Swift's are back-ordered, for how long I don't know. I'm an LBS employee, and I can't get 'em either! :(
