I was wondering, does a mountain bike frame have to have gyro tabs in order to set up a gyro system on it? If not, how would i go about fitting it????

I don't know if you could without a welder. You could run the fron brake cable through the top cap and the rear brake cable run really long. This will let you do x-ups etc...
Don't some of those BMX/MTB combination frames have that capability? I remember seeing that.
Also, if you have a singlespeed without a rear brake you can run the front brake cable through the steerer tube for the same effect.

Yes there are a couple. Maybe 2...I can't remember the name thats for sure.
You don't need tabs welded to the frame. You can use a plate that fits between the headset cup and the frame instead. Most gyros include this plate when you buy them.

I never liked the plates. Found the braking to inconsistent for my tastes. But no it isn't difficult to install.
BTW u=you. Please try not to shorten your words. Thanks
