I have a 1976 Schwinn Superior 22" bike that I inherited about a year ago.

The pedals were removed for some reason. Maybe to keep someone from riding it. http://www.fordtruk.com/schwinn.htm
I added a set of aftermarket pedals as seen in the pictures.

Does anyone know where I can find a set of original style pedals? I have no idea what the correct pedals look like and would appreciate any help. You can e-mail me at: dane@fordtruk.com

Nice bike. Looks like the pedal trick worked - not many miles...

look here: http://www.geocities.com/sldatabook/contents.html for a guide to Schwinn lightweight catalogs. The specs for your bike are in there somewhere.
