Just bought a Jamis satelitte. I put on an xt rear and 11-30 gearing that I had been using on another bike. I feel this bike will make a good 4-5 day fast/light tourer. Traditionally with this set up I run on 28 x 700 and unfortunatly they won't fit, 25 do. Iam switching to a BOB this time around just to try it. My LBS has been good enough to leave the door open for swapping out the rims (I have only had this a few days). Are the alex 450 that came with this bike worthy of keeping. As well anyone have a report on this Jamis model. I have bought a few bikes over the years and some worth alot more money, this bike Iam ecstatic about!! I love it!!
