Can anyone help me track down the company Nuke Proof? I just need an email or mailing address. I couldn't find a web site...

Also, is anyone familiar with thier hubs? Anyone ever have the freehub assembly become a little sloppy? Is it actually shimano XTR or XT, or do I need to replace it with Nuke Proof Parts? My cassette rocks back and forth with just enough play to make me question its integrity!

Thank You...

Mike

To be honest, I had heard that they filed for bankruptcy protection. According to Archive.org's Wayback Machine (http://www.archive.org), the last time the nukeproof.com website could be located on the Internet was in July, 2001.

This contact info was on the Nuke Proof Website at that time, according to ARchive.org:

No never experienced this problem you are having. I have run them for years and the only thing I ever do is remove the rubber dust ring from the inside of the freehub. You may want to try to tighten up your cassettes lock ring. if not remove it and lok for a 10 or 12mm allen head inside the freehub, and tighten that.

I have a Nukeproof rear hub with a goofy freehub, be sure to let us know if you find any information. I also heard that they went out of business. Luckily, I was given the hubs by a pro friend ... great performers for the price!
