Be sure you check your hubs for the recall. It also involves Ritchey hubs that were licensed under the American Classic patent. These American Classic Recall hubs are advertised to be light and like the other products American Classic makes they are very light and fragile. The company had many problems and recalls in the past including the SeatPost, Bottom Brackets, Cranks and earlier model hubs that have broken and caused major injury to the rider. Keep in mind these are only the items that have been recalled. How many other products are not being recalled because of the cost to the company owner and designer Bill Shook? You can't be too safe! Be sure to inspect your parts. If you are a large rider be careful. Ride safe.
