I swear it was the worst storm I've even seen in my 15 years living here... but probably felt much worse because I was out riding at the time the worst part hit.
On my way home there were a bunch of streets that was just flooded, I past by one woman who was standing there crying in front of the Bally's on Queens Blvd becuase the water was about 2 feet high (the cars couldn't even pass).
I was having fun but at the same time was miserable.
During the whole downpour it was the first time I ever felt kind of scared while riding my bike... I was afraid a tree limb would fall on me or I'd get electrocuted by some downed power line or something.
I also had to spend 2 hours cleaning up my bike and drying everything when I got home.
